As Chattogram Club Australia (CCA), we are overwhelmed with gratitude and pride as we reflect on the incredible success of Mezban 2024. Together, we created history by feeding 3500 to 4000 people under one roof in just few hours, with the sole purpose of bringing the community together, raising funds to support people in need and showcasing our rich culture. This feat was achieved without charging any attendees, embodied the true spirit of generosity and community.
Our vision for Mezban 2024 was clear, but it was the collective effort of every member, volunteer, participant, and our caterer, Mezbani Restaurant, for cooking such delicious food, Leon, Sakib and Rockdale Mosque for providing logistic supports (cooking pots), that made this event an extraordinary success. From the executive team who tirelessly planned every detail, to the volunteers who dedicated their time and energy, to the participants who brought life and vibrancy to the event – your contributions were invaluable. Each person, from the youngest child to the oldest attendee, played a crucial role in making Mezban 2024 a fantastic and historic event. We can proudly announce that CCA Mezban 2024 is the largest Mezban gathering in the world outside Bangladesh.

CCA team continued to show the local communities that we can accomplish remarkable outcome. This takes a lot of planning, sincerity and hard work both on the stage and behind the scenes. Preparation of Mezban to cater for 3500+ guests is like a synchronised planning and implementation. An arrangement to accommodate 420 guests at a time with 4 serving stations for dinner gives us a glimpse of the intricacy required. 80+ members volunteered to make the event successful.
